The CalAmp 819 Series Celluar Data Modems are external modem devices providing wireless connectivity through public cellular networks, either CDMA (819-1xRT) or GSM (819-GPRS). As fully certified, dual-band (CDMA) or quad-band (GSM) integrated platforms, they enable simple integration through a serial connection.
Our ready-to-deploy wireless modems not only address your wireless communication needs, they also provide faster time-to-market. So un-wire your existing communication-ready machines, systems and next generation devices to address multiple applications or markets with the single, flexible platform provided by the 819 series.
Successfully deployed across diverse fixed or even mobile applications including data access, remote telemetry, SCADA, remote point-of-sale (POS) and automatic meter reading (AMR), the 819 series supports both ciruit-switched cellular and packet-switched services with broad approval on cellular carriers worldwide.
