The CalAmp 822 Series Cellular Data Modems are external cellular routers with integrated DHCP server, port forwarding and port mapping capabilities providing wireless data connectivity through public cellular networks. As fully certified, dual-band (CDMA) or quad-band (GSM, EDGE) integrated platforms, they enable simple integration through TCP/IP connectivity.
Our ready-to-deploy wireless modems not only address your wireless communication needs, they also provide faster time-to-market. So un-wire your existing communication-ready machines, systems and next generation devices to address multiple applications or markets with the single, flexible platform provided by the 822 series.
Successfully deployed across diverse fixed or even mobile application, you can use the 822 to establish an Internet connection or provide connectivity for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ethernet web cameras or other Ethernet devices. Error-corrected serial data communication is provided by TCP/IP packet encapsulation.
