The FiberCab with Linear Motors (FCL) Series is the result of a multi-year focused effort to design and build an ultra-high accuracy high speed laser cutting platform specifically for small to micro part processing. The FCL was designed and optimized for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals with the ability to process materials as thin as .0002”/.005mm and the ability to resolve part geometries to as small as .0005”/.012mm.
The FCL platform incorporates ALL ironless linear motors mounted to a thermally stable GRANITE base. The drive system is capable of extremely high accelerations while maintaining the most demanding accuracies. Combined with our latest generation of controls and user interface, the FCL series is among the highest throughput systems on the market, regardless of size.
